The stranglehold of years, cease
They were lived and survived
The ropes that bind, release
Free at last to be alive
Life now goes on, in peace
Perhaps it's just cruel fate
The way life twists and turns
It may not be too late
To shatter past concerns
So to dictate a better future...contemplate
